Joy-Con Drift

For almost as long as the Switch has existed, there have been individuals experiencing Joy-Con drift. For those unfamiliar, this is when the Joy-Con registers the joystick moving, when in reality, no input is being done. Currently, an american law firm is investigating the possibility of a class action lawsuit against Nintendo. No reports as of yet on the results of the investigation.

New Switch

Nintendo has quietly released a new hardware version of the Nintendo Switch. While the battery life was impressive, it was not long lasting enough for many people. This new update is claimed to be able to last 4.5 to 9 hours on a single charge, vs the 2.5 to 6.5 hours. As a scope of reference, the old version could only last for three hours with Breath of the Wild running, this version can now last up to 5.5 hours with Breath of the Wild.

Flying Switch

In conjunction with Southwest Airlines, Mario greeted passengers on Southwest flight 2246. These individuals were traveling from Dallas to San Diego Comic Con. That wasn’t the only surprise they received, they also received a brand new Nintendo Switch. Don’t worry, there are still chances for you. This is the start of a month long giveaway of different prizes, including Switches, until August 13th.
