Battle Royale Is Back

The runaway success that was Modern Warfare last year has returned with a new mode called Warzone. Warzone is Modern Warfare’s latest addition to its diverse content lineup. Warzone is actually split into two modes, one of which is a battle royale, the other is named Plunder. So far the Battle Royale portion only has one map named Verdansk. However, Verdansk is extremely large and able to support the 150 player count every match will have. Thankfully players will have vehicles to be able to traverse around the map more quickly and easily.

Cash is King

Plunder is a twist on multiplayer where you fight enemy combatants to gain resources. Plunder has two ways of gaining resources, defeating enemies and completing contracts. Contracts are mini objectives to be completed throughout a match. Cross-play is enabled for all platforms and progress will carry over from Modern Warfare into Warzone. It’s free to play so anyone can get their hands on it and try it out starting on March 10th.
