Welcome Back, Captain Price…
In one of the biggest surprises of the year, Activision announced the new Call of Duty as Modern Warfare, a reboot of the now legendary franchise. Fan favorite Captain Price makes a return, along with the original developers of Call of Duty, Infinity Ward. Furthermore, the game looks gorgeous, sporting a new graphics engine with improved lighting and texture work. Modern Warfare will be releasing on October 25th, 2019. In fact, it will have support for cross-play between all platforms and making all DLC free for all players. The abandonment of the season pass model that was extremely profitable for Activision is a welcome change that should give the game some goodwill in the eyes of fans that may have left the franchise in recent years.
